Opening 2023
In November 2023, the Blumenhaus Admont Abbey was reopened after being remodelled. For decades, the Admont Benedictine Monastery's flower shop has been supplying the local and national population with vegetable plants, balcony and cut flowers and much more. This year, Mrs Isabella Berghofer took over the management of the floristry and nursery from Mr Karl Amon and the flower house was redesigned as part of the change. The opening began with the blessing by the Most Reverend Abbot Gerhard Hafner, followed by words from the Economic Director, Mr Franz Pichler, and the Operations Manager, Mrs Isabella Berghofer.
Painting competition 2023
As part of the reopening, a colouring competition was held on the theme of "flowers" or "flower meadow". All children were able to hand in their self-painted pictures at the opening and received a small gift in return. The 10 best pictures will be shown again in spring 2024 at the Blumenhaus
issued.
