About the parish / parish church
The Kraubath parish church is dedicated to St George and was elevated to parish church status in 1524. Among the many sculptures, the valuable life-size crucified man from around 1520 as well as a seated Mary with baby Jesus and two angels from the workshop of the Admont master Josef Stammel are particularly noteworthy.
The parish of Kraubath is part of the parish association of St Michael in Upper Styria, Kraubath and St Stefan ob Leoben.

VIRTUAL TOUR THROUGH THE PARISH CHURCH
Bells
The largest of the three bells was installed in the tower in 1879. It was made by Engelbert Samassa from Ljubljana. The relief images show a crucifix with Mary and John, St Joseph with baby Jesus, St Anthony with baby Jesus and a worshipping priest in front of the Blessed Sacrament.
In 1918, two more steel bells were cast by the company "Gebrüder Böhler" in Kapfenberg.
Today's tower clock has an old clockwork that was once found in the town hall tower in Leoben.
