About the parish of Unterlaussa
The parish of Unterlaussa in the beautiful Laussatal valley at the foot of the Hengst Pass is the only parish of Admont Abbey whose church is located in the province of Upper Austria.
The parish area lies partly in Upper Austria (part of the municipality of Weyer) and partly in Styria (municipality of St. Gallen). The small neo-Gothic parish church is dedicated to Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
The parish association comprises the parishes of Altenmarkt an der Enns, St.Gallen and Unterlaussa.
