Admont Abbey kitchen honoured once again

The Admont Abbey kitchen has once again been awarded the prestigious „Der Grüne Teller“ seal of quality.

 

This seal of quality stands for particularly balanced and health-conscious meal planning in Styrian communal catering and once again confirms the high quality of the cuisine at Admont Abbey.

The „Green Plate“ is characterised by a varied menu throughout the week that caters to all tastes: Vegetable lovers, meat lovers and those with a sweet tooth can all enjoy it equally. The aim is for guests to enjoy a balanced and varied diet over the course of the week.

Quality control is carried out annually by Styria vitalis. The menu plans and ingredients are carefully scrutinised as part of a comprehensive menu check. This assesses whether the meals on offer provide a healthy balance of different food groups and enable a varied diet.

The Stiftsküche Admont provides its guests with healthy and tasty meals 365 days a year, including Sundays and public holidays. The food is freshly prepared daily to order and delivered directly to customers' homes as part of the meals on wheels programme.

 

The varied menu selection ranges from traditional home cooking to vegetarian delicacies - lovingly cooked in the monastery's own kitchen in Admont. Quality, regionality and a balanced diet always take centre stage.

 

With the renewed award of the „Green Plate“, the Admont Abbey kitchen emphasises its commitment to quality, healthy nutrition and regional supply - directly from the heart of Admont Abbey.
