Young skilled workers are a company's potential for the future. This is one reason why Admonter has been training motivated young people who want to become part of the company with passion and skill in various interesting specialisations for 10 years. What many people don't know is that Admonter currently offers seven different apprenticeships (carpenter, wood technician, metal technician, industrial clerk, ...).

The joint project "Business meets school" was launched in the 2013/14 school year on the initiative of Sonja Vucsina, headmistress of Admont secondary school at the time, and Erich Berger, member of the Admont works council.

Started as a pilot project, the project has now been running regularly for 10 years and is very popular with the students, but also with the people responsible in the company and at school.

Silvia Jetz, Director of MS Admont, and Sabine Stachl, Head of Human Resources at Admonter AG, agree: "Our collaboration has grown and intensified over the last 10 years and we are absolutely committed to continuing the project for the next 10 years."

"Around 25 young people have completed their apprenticeship through the project work at Admonter AG, which we are extremely proud of and shows the added value of the collaboration. Our aim is to establish contact with young people from the region at an early stage and to awaken their interest in an apprenticeship at Admonter," says Sabine Stachl from Admonter AG.

Under the expert guidance of apprentice trainers Roman Zandl and Christian Nistelberger, workpieces such as a wooden stool, cutting boards, electric motors and much more are produced. At the same time, the young people also get to know the current apprentices and can talk to them in depth about an apprenticeship at Admonter AG. Here's to the next ten years!
