Ennstal TV becomes new broadcasting partner of "Ulli kocht"
The popular cookery series "Ulli kocht", created in the Benedictine Abbey of Admont and in cooperation with the Stiftskeller Admont, is entering a new phase: with Ennstal TV, the regional TV station in the upper Enns Valley, the format has a new cooperation and broadcasting partner that perfectly matches the philosophy of the programme. The cooperation stands for a strong alliance of lived regionality, cultural depth and media-effective realisation.

The programme focuses on culinary traditions, regional producers and products as well as the cultural heritage of Upper Styria. It's not just the cooking itself that plays a role, but also telling the stories behind the recipes - with people whose hearts beat for their region.
A special highlight: the monks from Admont Abbey are also involved with great enthusiasm. They not only contribute their historical background knowledge, but also share their own family recipes and spiritual approaches to the topic of food - and in some episodes they even have a lot of fun in the kitchen themselves.
"Ennstal TV sees itself as a value-free, modern but traditional information medium - a genuine regional TV that rethinks local television while honouring the roots of the region," emphasises Gerhard Scott, founder and managing director of Ennstal TV. "The entire team was immediately enthusiastic about the idea of "Ulli kocht" because it is 100 % in line with our intentions and shows in a modern yet contemporary way how beautiful our region is, how great our producers are and how great our history is."
"Ennstal TV has been an advertising partner of Admont Abbey for many years, and the cooperation around 'Ulli kocht' is simply great - friendly and at eye level. The programme aims to get people excited about what grows, lives and works right on our doorstep - from faith, culture and crafts to culinary delights and nature. We are delighted that we have now found a strong regional partner in Ennstal TV that shares precisely these values," explains Mario Brandmüller, Head of Culture, Tourism and PR at Admont Abbey and concept developer of "Ulli kocht".
The success proves the three-person team right: with almost 3 million video views on the social media channels of Admont Abbey, numerous positive responses from home and abroad and broad coverage in regional and national media, "Ulli kocht" has long since become known far beyond the Enns Valley. The mixture of history, culinary delights, regional pride and humorous lightness of touch captures the spirit of the times - and resonates with people.
The focus of the programme is Ulrich "Ulli" Matlschweiger, head chef at Stiftskeller Admont - a host with heart, craftsmanship and humour. In each episode, he not only brings traditional recipes to the table, but also encounters with monks from Admont Abbey, producers, companions and guests who characterise our region.
"For me, cooking is more than just culinary art - it's a piece of living our homeland. I want to show how much quality, character and history there is in our region - on the plate and beyond. The fact that we can now reach even more people with Ennstal TV really motivates me. It's a great pleasure to be part of this shared journey."

The episodes of "Ulli kocht" will now also be broadcast on Ennstal TV from autumn. This not only increases the reach of the programme, but also the network of those who are committed to regionality, quality, cultural heritage and the loving telling of stories.
